It's a Big Club, and You Ain't In It: Jeffrey Epstein & You

Since the runaway train of disinformation left the station of 2016, the political disconnect between reality and complete fabrication has widened exponentionally. As of 2026, this trend has not only reached its apogee, but has transformed into something even more horrific.

The recent FBI release of files has confirmed that the schizophrenics, conspiracy theorists, crackpots and tinfoil hat wearers were correct. There is an international, sex-trafficking conspiracy - involving political and industrial leaders from across borders and ideologies - ran by ultra-rich pedophiles, technocrats and intelligence agencies to enslave the human race. None of what you have just read is hyperbolic, or editorial. This is, in fact, a mild, and - importantly - factual reading for the situation at hand.

So. The FBI has confirmed this. No arrests. No ongoing investigation. This is all true. Yet, it doesn't sound it, does it? Even for television, such a story would be too far-fetched. In fact, when Adam McKay's Don't Look Up released in Trump's first term, the idea of an insane narcissist choosing to let the planet burn than relinquish power was considered too "on the nose for the contemporary climate". On a daily basis now, DiCaprio's rant that this "administration has lost its fucking mind and we're all going to die", is probably repeated fifty times for real in the mainstream media.

Despite the unrealness of all of this, it is real. And, either through the years of disinformation campaigns and psychological operations, or just simple late-stage capitalist apathy, no one has the energy to care or do anything about it. Sure, social media is outraged. But, will there be any convictions? Will anyone go to prison over this, other than Ghislaine Maxwell - who has reached a very cushy deal with the federal government?

The problem with the advent of fake news, alternate facts and politifcal polarisation is that two realities are created. One, in which the other is the spawn of Satan - and vice versa. Nuance, synthesis, the dialectics of political and labour struggle that shape eras on into the next, are lost in the technobabble of blatant lies and false facts. We truly are lost as a species. These two realities cannot even coalesce comfortably around the shocking truth: that the elite are pedophilic, vampiric cultists that view us as cattle to their sick and perverted desires. Baudrillard used to argue that Disneyland existed to re-inforce the illusion that everything surrounding it was real, in a socio-epistemological sense. That the fakeness of Disneyland somehow made the artificiality of our own society feel realer in comparison. The Matrix covers similar thematic ground, and even directly references Baudrillard, in its ambiguity between the comparative "realness" of the simulation and Zion. Baudrillard would argue that both are contiguously unreal.

We have either reached a point that proves post-modernism correct, or we are beyond that and reached something completely different. Because, now, there is no pretension that our society is bullshit. Politicians break the law every single day, with no reprecussions. The United States violates international soveriegnty, threatens its NATO allies, and the collective reaction of the world is to roll over. Jeff Bezos pays no tax, Uber has essentially created an under-class of gig-economy workers, private equity firms are buying up family houses, rent is outrageous and James Corden still has a career. What is going on?

Jeffrey Epstein is almost cartoonishly evil. The man is the Devil incarnate - and had an active role in shaping geopolitics in relatively complete ambiguity. But, while he - and many politicians - may want you to view him as the Heart of Darkness itself, a singularly pure incarnation of evil, I would advise you not to. Instead, view him as a middle-man for the throngs of depraved technocrats, billionaires, Presidents, Prime Minsters, Kings and Princes to indulge in the most abhorrent and unspeakable acts known. He was a parasite linking the elite pedophiles of the world to rape and murder children. A link in a chain, that broke at the same time his neck did at a correctional facility in New York.

Now the line is reeling back, and we find out how deep this rabbit hole goes, remember that these people are lying to you, will lie to you, and it is your moral responsibility to remember that it's Us vs Them, not Left vs Right or any derivation thereof. Epstein said Brexit "was just the beginning", and they needed a "return to tribalism".

Don't tear apart your fellow cattle while they've got the boot on your neck.
